Wyoming High School Football - Thunder Basin tops Laramie

October 17, 2025: Gillette, WY 82718

The Thunder Basin Bolts football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Laramie Plainsmen to 14 in the Bolts league triumph on Friday.

The Bolts now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to South for a 4A test on Thursday, October 23. Thunder Basin will meet a Bison squad coming off a 62-0 league loss to Natrona County (Casper, WY). The Bison record now stands at 0-8.

With the defeat, Laramie drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Plainsmen travel to Sheridan (Sheridan, WY) to play the Broncs in a 4A challenge on Friday, October 24. The Broncs go into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Sheridan won 28-10 in their recent league challenge against Campbell County (Gillette, WY)
