Louisiana High School Football - Sacred Heart falls to St. Edmund

The St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays felled the host Sacred Heart Trojans football team by a score of 58-36 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Blue Jays meet the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) in a 1A District 5 test, on Friday, October 24. St. Edmund will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 43-7 league win over Berchmans Academy (Grand Coteau, LA).

With the defeat, Sacred Heart drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to North Central (Lebeau, LA) to face the Hurricanes in a 1A District 5 challenge on Friday, October 24. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. North Central lost 57-6 in their recent league challenge against Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA)
