The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Rowland Hall Winged Lions (Salt Lake City, UT) and the host Monument Valley Cougars (Monument Valley, UT), saw Rowland Hall's volleyball squad notch a victory over Monument Valley by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Rowland Hall improves its record to 13-11 on the season. The Winged Lions travel to Tintic (Eureka, UT) to encounter the Miners in a non-league battle on Friday, October 17. The Miners enter the contest with a record of 15-8. Tintic lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Tabiona (Tabiona, UT)
