The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Almont Raiders (Almont, MI) and the visiting North Branch Broncos (North Branch, MI), witnessed Almont's football squad topple North Branch by a count of 35-14.

The Raiders (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Edison Academy (Detroit, MI). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Edison Academy thwarted Ecorse (Ecorse, MI), 26-10, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Broncos confront the Holly Bronchos (Holly, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 25. North Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Bronchos enter the contest with a 1-7 record after their 42-28 non-league win over Clio (Clio, MI).
