Virginia High School Football - Eastern Montgomery crushed by Bath County
October 18, 2024: Hot Springs, VA 24445 Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA), 62-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Bath County advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Chargers travel to Craig County (New Castle, VA) to play the Rockets in a Pioneer battle on Friday, October 25. The Rockets go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Craig County lost 37-6 in their recent league battle against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA)
The Mustangs now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Narrows for a Pioneer battle on Friday, October 25. Eastern Montgomery will play a Green Waves team coming off a 40-35 non-league loss to Honaker (Honaker, VA). The Green Waves record now stands at 3-2.
