South Carolina High School Football - Catawba Ridge tops Nation Ford

October 18, 2024: Fort Mill, SC 29715

The Catawba Ridge Copperheads football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Nation Ford Falcons to 7 in the Copperheads league triumph on Friday.

The Copperheads now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rock Hill for a AAAAA Region 3 test on Friday, October 25. Catawba Ridge will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 55-7 league loss to Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-4.

With the defeat, Nation Ford drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Falcons host Clover (Clover, SC) to meet the Blue Eagles in a AAAAA Region 3 test on Friday, October 25. The Blue Eagles come into the test with a record of 5-3. Clover won 21-7 in their recent league test against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC)
