The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) and the host Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), witnessed Riverton Parke's football squad edge Covington by a tally of 39-32.

The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Parke Heritage was nudged by Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN), 31-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Trojans confront the Attica Red Ramblers (Attica, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 25. Covington will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Red Ramblers enter the contest with a 0-9 record after their 53-3 league loss to South Vermillion (Clinton, IN).
