October 18, 2024: West Winfield, NY 13491 The Mt. Markham Mustangs (West Winfield, NY) football knocked off the visiting South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY), 20-7 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dolgeville for a Section 3 D - East outing on Friday, October 25. Mt. Markham will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 66-0 non-league win over Pulaski (Pulaski, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-0.
With the defeat, South Jefferson drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Mexico (Mexico, NY) to clash with the Tigers in a Section 3 B - 2 outing on Thursday, October 24. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 1-6. Mexico lost 48-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Birdlebough (Phoenix, NY)
