In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Covenant Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Trinity Episcopal Titans.

The Eagles (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA). The Flames come into the VISAA Blue Ridge battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Eastern Mennonite lost by Broadway (Broadway, VA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Titans encounter the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 20. Trinity Episcopal will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Mighty Oaks come into the battle with a 6-12 record after their 3-1 league win over Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA).
