Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX), 30-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Memorial advances its record to 2-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Northbrook (Houston, TX) to play the Raiders in a 6A Region III District 17 battle on Thursday, October 24. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 2-5. Northbrook lost 41-0 in their recent league battle against Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX)

The Cougars now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Cy-Fair for a 6A Region III District 17 battle on Friday, October 25. Cypress Creek will play a Bobcats team coming off a 31-24 league win over Stratford (Houston, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-2.
