October 19, 2024: Pekin, IL 61554 The Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) volleyball held off the visiting Triad Knights (Troy, IL), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Dragons now possess a 11-18 record. They play next when they travel to Limestone for a Mid-Illini bout on Tuesday, October 22. Pekin will clash with a Rockets team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 24-9.
With the loss, Triad drops to 14-14 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Jersey (Jerseyville, IL) to clash with the Panthers in a Mississippi Valley bout on Tuesday, October 22. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 10-20. Jersey won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Metro-East Lutheran (Edwardsville, IL)
