The Millennium Lions volleyball squad (Mount Airy, NC), dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC)

With the win, Cornerstone Charter improves its record to 17-2 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Bethany (Summerfield, NC) to encounter the Wolves in a Northwest Piedmont 1A battle on Wednesday, October 2. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 7-10. Bethany lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC)

The Lions now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Triad Baptist Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4.
