In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Fairfield Christian Academy Knights volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Millersport Lakers.

The Knights (11-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Grove City Christian (Grove City, OH). The Eagles go into the Mid-State - Cardinal test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Grove City Christian gained a win over Bishop Rosecrans (Zanesville, OH), 3-0, in a league test.

The Lakers now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Rosecrans for a Mid-State - Cardinal test on Tuesday, October 7. Millersport will face a Bishops squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Grove City Christian (Grove City, OH). The Bishops record now stands at 3-12.
