North Carolina High School Volleyball - Phoenix Academy bounced by Millennium

Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Millennium improves its record to 9-7 on the season. The Lions host Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC) to encounter the Wolves in a Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A test on Tuesday, October 7. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 11-9. Bethany Community won 3-0 in their recent league test against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC)

The Firebirds now have a 4-13 record. They take the field next when they host Forsyth Home Educators for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 3. Phoenix Academy will meet a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Greensboro (Greensboro, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 1-9.
