The Valley Vikings volleyball team (Albuquerque, NM), was tipped 3-2 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Taos Tigers (Taos, NM)

The Tigers (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes enter the 4A District 2 contest with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Pojoaque Valley was edged by Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pojoaque Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. Valley will encounter a Elks/Elkettes squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes record now stands at 2-12.
