In Friday's league battle, the host Verrado Vipers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos.

The Vipers (24-9) will now prepare for their battle against Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 9-15 record. In their last battle, Cactus Shadows lost by Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ), 3-0, in a league battle.
