October 21, 2022: Columbia, SC 29205 The Dreher Blue Devils football team (Columbia, SC), was ripped 56-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC)
The Indians (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC). The Bearcats come into the AAA Region 5 challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Brookland-Cayce trounced Swansea (Swansea, SC), 49-0, in a league challenge.
The Blue Devils now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lower Richland for a AAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, October 28. Dreher will meet a Diamond Hornets team coming off a 31-0 league win over Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC). The Diamond Hornets record now stands at 3-6.
