In Friday's league game, the McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) football team smashed the visiting Rock Hill Blue Hawks (Frisco, TX), by a score of 42-10.

The Lions (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Guyer (Denton, TX). The Wildcats come into the 6A Region I District 5 game with a 8-0 record. In their last game, Guyer overwhelmed Allen (Allen, TX), 49-7, in a league game.

The Blue Hawks now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Boyd for a 6A Region I District 5 game on Friday, October 28. Rock Hill will battle a Broncos team coming off a 55-46 league win over Little Elm (Little Elm, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 1-7.
