In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Meridian Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Altamont Indians.

The Hawks (17-16) will now prepare for their match against Nokomis (Nokomis, IL). The Redskins come into the non-league match with a 14-11 record. In their last match, Nokomis was defeated by Calvary (Springfield, IL), 2-0, in a league match.

With the loss, Altamont drops to 11-19 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Taylorville (Taylorville, IL) to clash with the Tornadoes in a non-league match on Saturday, October 22.
