The Varnado Wildcats football squad scored 58 points and limited the visiting Crescent City Christian Pioneers to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside Academy for a 1A District 10 test on Friday, November 1. Varnado will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 18-15 non-league win over Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, Crescent City Christian drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to West St. John (Edgard, LA) to meet the Rams in a 1A District 10 test on Friday, November 1. The Rams come into the test with a record of 4-3. West St. John lost 37-22 in their recent league test against St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA)
