Texas High School Football - Los Fresnos nudges Veterans Memorial

October 24, 2024: Brownsville, TX 78520

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Los Fresnos Falcons football squad scored a close 24-21 triumph over the Veterans Memorial Chargers.

The Falcons (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Harlingen (Harlingen, TX). The Cardinals come into the 6A Region IV District 32 match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Harlingen tipped Hanna (Brownsville, TX), 10-6, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Chargers confront the San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 32 match, on Friday, November 1. Veterans Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Greyhounds come into the match with a 1-7 record after their 45-17 league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX).
