Virginia High School Football - Grassfield thwarted by Nansemond River
October 24, 2024: Suffolk, VA 23434 Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA), 30-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Nansemond River improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 31. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a record of 0-8. Lakeland lost 34-14 in their recent non-league battle against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)
