The Del Valle Conquistadores edged the host Andress Eagles football team by a score of 56-49 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Conquistadores face the Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX) in a 5A-2 Region I District 1 outing, on Thursday, October 30. Del Valle will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 4-4 record after their 62-7 league loss to Andress (El Paso, TX).

With the defeat, Andress drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to El Paso (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A-2 Region I District 1 outing on Friday, October 31.
