The Round Valley Elks football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Apache Junction Prospectors to 6 in the Elks league triumph on Friday.

The Elks now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host ALA - Mesa North for a 3A Mountain test on Friday, October 31. Round Valley will clash with a Mavericks squad coming off a 39-7 league loss to Blue Ridge (Lakeside, AZ). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-7.

The Prospectors (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Gilbert Christian was ripped by Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ), 27-20, in a league game.
