Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX), 28-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Cypress Ranch advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Bridgeland (Cypress, TX) to confront the Bears in a 6A Region II District 16 match on Friday, October 31. The Bears come into the match with a record of 6-2. Bridgeland won 44-16 in their recent league match against Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX)

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Cypress Park Tigers (Cypress, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 test, on Thursday, October 30. Cypress Woods will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 0-8 record after their 52-0 league loss to Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX).
