In Friday's league game, the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) football team triumphed over the host Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ), by a tally of 60-14.

In their next game, the Scorpions face the Millennium Tigers (Goodyear, AZ) in a 5A Desert West game, on Friday, October 31. Desert Edge will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 7-2 record after their 44-37 league loss to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ).

The Cougars (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ). The Vipers enter the 5A Desert West outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Verrado trounced Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ), 62-38, in a league outing.
