Virginia High School Football - Narrows tops Eastern Montgomery

October 24, 2025: Narrows, VA 24124

The Narrows Green Waves football squad scored 47 points and limited the visiting Eastern Montgomery Mustangs to 16 in the Green Waves league triumph on Friday.

The Green Waves now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Craig County for a Pioneer test on Friday, October 31. Narrows will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 28-0 league win over Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Rockets record now stands at 8-0.

With the defeat, Eastern Montgomery drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA) to meet the Fighting Blues in a Pioneer challenge on Friday, November 7. The Fighting Blues go into the challenge with a record of 4-4.
