The Jackson Prep Patriots (Jackson, MS) football trounced the host Silliman Institute Wildcats (Clinton, LA), 52-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Oak Forest Academy for a MAIS 4A District 4 outing on Friday, October 31. Jackson Prep will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 17-13 league loss to Cathedral (Natchez, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Silliman Institute drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Parklane Academy (McComb, MS) to face the Pioneers in a MAIS 4A District 3 game on Friday, October 31. The Pioneers enter the game with a record of 8-1. Parklane Academy won 48-19 in their recent league game against Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS)
