The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA) and the visiting St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA), witnessed Paraclete's football squad edge St. Francis by a tally of 42-35.

With the win, Paraclete advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Spirits travel to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to encounter the Swordsmen in a Angelus bout on Friday, October 31. The Swordsmen go into the bout with a record of 3-6. St. Paul won 41-7 in their recent league bout against Bishop Alemany (Mission Hills, CA)

The Golden Knights now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Cathedral for a Angelus bout on Friday, October 31. St. Francis will confront a Phantoms squad coming off a 28-14 league win over St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Phantoms record now stands at 5-4.
