October 25, 2024: Amite, LA 70422 The Amite Warriors walloped the visiting Albany Hornets football team by a score of 47-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) in a 3A District 8 challenge, on Friday, November 1. Amite will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 50-0 league loss to Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA).
The Hornets (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Sumner (Kentwood, LA). The Cowboys go into the 3A District 8 challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Sumner bounced Pine (Franklinton, LA), 13-6, in a league challenge.
