South Carolina High School Football - Barnwell tops Edisto
October 25, 2024: Barnwell, SC 29812 The Barnwell Warhorses football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Edisto Cougars to 8 in the Warhorses league triumph on Friday.
The Warhorses now hold a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Whale Branch for a AA Region 5 test on Friday, November 1. Barnwell will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 38-21 league loss to Hampton County (Varnville, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Edisto drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Lake Marion (Santee, SC) to meet the Gators in a AA Region 5 test on Friday, November 1. The Gators come into the test with a record of 2-6. Lake Marion lost 14-12 in their recent league test against Whale Branch (Beaufort, SC)
