Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Centennial Chargers (Champaign, IL), 38-18 in a league battle.

With the win, Bloomington improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Purple Raiders host Lemont (Lemont, IL) to play the Lemont HS in a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. The Lemont HS go into the battle with a record of 6-3. Lemont won 43-42 in their recent league battle against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL)

The Chargers now have a 4-5 record.
