Virginia High School Football - Lightridge defeated by Briar Woods

In Friday's league game, the Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) football team were victorious over the visiting Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA), by a score of 32-12.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA) in a Potomac game, on Thursday, October 31. Briar Woods will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 1-7 record after their 14-10 league loss to Independence (Ashburn, VA).

The Bolts (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Riverside (Leesburg, VA). The Ram enter the Potomac game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Riverside ran past Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA), 49-0, in a league game.
