Texas High School Football - Groesbeck can't hold off West
October 25, 2024: West, TX 76691 West Trojans (West, TX) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Groesbeck Goats (Groesbeck, TX), 31-28 in a league battle.
With the win, West improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Trojans host Grandview (Grandview, TX) to play the Zebras in a 3A-1 Region II District 5 battle on Friday, November 1. The Zebras go into the battle with a record of 5-3. Grandview won 20-17 in their recent league battle against Maypearl (Maypearl, TX)
The Goats now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Whitney for a 3A-1 Region II District 5 battle on Friday, November 1. Groesbeck will play a Wildcats team coming off a 55-42 league loss to Mexia (Mexia, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
