Pennsylvania High School Football - Northwestern Lehigh sneaks past Southern Lehigh

In Friday's league match, the visiting Northwestern Lehigh Tigers football squad scored a close 23-17 triumph over the Southern Lehigh Spartans.

The Tigers (10-0) will now prepare for their match against Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Saucon Valley tipped Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA), 21-7, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Spartans meet the Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - A match, on Thursday, October 31. Southern Lehigh will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Olympians come into the match with a 3-7 record after their 42-26 league loss to Lehighton (Lehighton, PA).
