In Friday's league match, the host Trinity Wolves football squad scored a good 42-32 triumph over the Weed Cougars.

The Wolves (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA). The Bears come into the Shasta Cascade match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Mt. Shasta was beaten by Modoc (Alturas, CA), 48-7, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA) in a Shasta Cascade match, on Friday, November 1. Weed will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 2-4 record after their 30-22 league loss to Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA).
