University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Mission Bay Buccaneers (San Diego, CA), 41-9 in a league battle.

With the win, University City improves its record to 2-2 on the season.

The Buccaneers now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Mira Mesa for a battle on Friday, November 1. Mission Bay will play a Marauders team coming off a 38-14 league win over Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 3-4.
