October 26, 2023: Shreveport, LA 71118 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA) and the host Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA), saw Haughton's volleyball squad beat Southwood by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Haughton upgrades its record to 14-16 on the year. The Buccaneers host Caddo Magnet (Shreveport, LA) to play the Mustangs in a Division II District 1 bout on Friday, October 27. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-17.
The Cowboys now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to Benton for a Division I District 1 bout on Friday, October 27. Southwood will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Byrd (Shreveport, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 22-12.
