The Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL) football nudged the visiting Wetumpka Indians (Wetumpka, AL), 35-30 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Volunteers face the Holtville Bulldogs (Deatsville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 4. Central of Clay County will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 3-7 record after their 35-7 non-league loss to Tallassee (Tallassee, AL).

The Indians (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Saraland (Saraland, AL). The Spartans enter the non-league bout with a 9-1 record. In their last bout, Saraland held off McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL), 48-31, in a league bout.
