October 28, 2025: Soperton, GA 30457 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) and the host Treutlen Vikings (Soperton, GA), witnessed Appling County's flag football squad knock off Treutlen by a tally of 13-0.
With the victory, Appling County betters its record to 5-4 on the year. The Pirates travel to Camden County (Kingsland, GA) to confront the Wildcats in a D3 Area 2 contest on Tuesday, November 4. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 6-3. Camden County won 21-12 in their recent non-league contest against Brunswick (Brunswick, GA)
