The Horizon Scorpions football squad (El Paso, TX), was trounced 58-6 in Friday's league contest with the host Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX)

The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Burges (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A-2 Region I District 1 contest with a 3-3 record.

Coming up next, the Scorpions battle the Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX) in a 5A-2 Region I District 1 bout, on Friday, October 10. Horizon will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 35-21 league loss to Hanks (El Paso, TX).
