The Deer Valley Skyhawks football team (Glendale, AZ), dropped 45-21 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ)

With the win, Chaparral advances its record to 3-3 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) to encounter the Saints in a 5A Northeast Valley bout on Thursday, October 9. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Notre Dame Prep won 42-41 in their recent league bout against Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ)

The Skyhawks now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Havasu for a 4A West Valley contest on Friday, October 10. Deer Valley will confront a Knights squad coming off a 44-28 league win over Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.
