The Quince Orchard Cougars ran past the host Churchill Bulldogs football squad by a margin of 34-13 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sherwood for a non-league test on Friday, October 10. Quince Orchard will face a Warriors team coming off a 41-0 non-league win over Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 5-0.

The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD). The Trojans enter the Class 4A West challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Gaithersburg lost by Northwest (Germantown, MD), 37-7, in a league test.
