In Friday's league match, the host Creighton Prep Junior Jays football squad scored a good 31-16 triumph over the Omaha Central Eagles.

In their next game, the Junior Jays play the Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE) in a A District 1 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Creighton Prep will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 63-7 league loss to Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE).

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Monarchs go into the A District 1 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Papillion-LaVista was dropped by Millard South (Omaha, NE), 58-3, in a non-league challenge.
