Virginia High School Football - Franklin County toppled by Liberty Christian

The Franklin County Eagles football team (Rocky Mount, VA), dropped 41-14 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA)

The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Hilltoppers enter the Seminole battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Glass overcame Liberty (Bedford, VA), 47-16, in a league battle.

The Eagles now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Lord Botetourt for a Blue Ridge battle on Friday, October 10. Franklin County will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 34-31 non-league loss to George Washington (Danville, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-1.
