Florida High School Football - Lake Region defeats Poinciana

October 3, 2025: Eagle Lake, FL 33839

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Lake Region Thunder (Eagle Lake, FL) and the visiting Poinciana Eagles (Kissimmee, FL), witnessed Lake Region's football squad topple Poinciana by a tally of 20-6.

The Thunder (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Auburndale (Auburndale, FL). The Bloodhounds go into the 4A District 7 bout with a 4-2 record.

The Eagles now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Auburndale for a non-league bout on Friday, October 10. Poinciana will encounter a Bloodhounds team coming off a 45-6 non-league win over Ridge Community (Davenport, FL). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 4-2.
