In Friday's non-league outing, the Los Fresnos Falcons (Los Fresnos, TX) football squad trounced the host Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX), by a margin of 63-20.

The Falcons now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Benito for a 6A Region IV District 32 outing on Friday, October 17.

With the defeat, Sharyland falls to 4-2 on the year. The Rattlers travel to Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX) to battle the Patriots in a 5A-2 Region IV District 15 game on Friday, October 10. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 5-1. Mission Veterans Memorial won 42-19 in their recent non-league game against Hanna (Brownsville, TX)
