South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Northgate Flames (Pittsburgh, PA), 63-13 in a league battle.

With the win, South Side improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Neshannock (New Castle, PA) to play the Lancers in a WPIAL A Big 7 battle on Friday, October 10. The Lancers go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Neshannock won 34-7 in their recent non-league battle against Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA)

The Flames now hold a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Summit Academy for a WPIAL A Big 7 test on Friday, October 10. Northgate will meet a Knights squad coming off a 63-8 league loss to Laurel (New Castle, PA). The Knights record now stands at 1-6.
