Fans at Friday's league battle between the Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) and the visiting Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX), saw Fort Bend Elkins's volleyball squad nudge Fort Bend Austin by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Fort Bend Elkins improves its record to 18-16 on the season. The Knights host Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX) to encounter the Tigers in a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 17-18.
