South Salem Saxons (Salem, OR) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Salem advances its record to 27-10 on the season. The Saxons host Barlow (Gresham, OR) to face the Bruins in a non-league test on Saturday, November 2. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 17-5. Barlow won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Beaverton (Beaverton, OR)

The Apollos now sport a 13-12 record.
